Grandma and Grandpa Balder Visit

Grandpa and Grandma Balder are here and the kids are getting a lot of attention!

More balls pitched and books read than I can count!

We went for a walk at Garden of the Gods and Joel tried out his new fish eye lens. He has wanted one since we were first married and he finally got it!

(Fish eye again)

We took my parents to Springs Canyon so they could enjoy the mountains and see the place we have great memories of. They loved it!

Lucy's first time paddling in the canoe! She had a huge grin on her face the whole time!

Noah got startled the first time the canoe rocked and had to get out :(

He's showing us the orange flowers and said, "orange." Sometimes his favorite color is blue and other times orange.

Lucy sees the chipmunk and starts to go at it.

The chipmunk sees her, lunges forward, and then runs away. Lucy runs out of there as fast as her little legs would go!
Noah sure is getting into trucks these days. He loves to point them out on the road and then say, "Big One!"

The kids could not wait to go down to the lake each morning and casting their poles into the fresh mountain lake and watching the ducks (fish eye lens).

The campfire was a hit! I think they loved roasting the marshmallows more than eating them! If you blow up the picture you will see how Noah is so fixated on the fire and having his marshmallow in the right spot.

Joel, Russ, and I went on a 4x4 trail. It was a lot of fun! I'm not sure many of you know that Joel bought a Jeep. He has wanted one for a long time and his truck of 13 years was getting old. He wanted an old 2 door Jeep, but for the family I talked him into a 4 door! The kids love riding in Daddy's Jeep. When Joel is away I drive it. It is so much more fun than the van.

The picture does not do it justice, but we drove all the way up all that!

Love the new photos! That fish eye lens is really cool. Noah and Mack have the same Italia shirt. They could almost be brothers with their blond hair! Looks like you had a great time with your company.
