Happy 4th of July!

We flew to Fargo on July 1st to visit our family. Being that I was 34 weeks along I was a little concerned about travel and early delivery, but our travels went very well. Joel was so helpful with everything and tried to keep the trip easy on me!
Picture: Grandpa was sleeping until Noah joined him!

Mel and Cia bought this tube to pull behind the pontoon. It holds up to 4 adults, so we would all pile on and go for a ride.....it was a great way to cool down when it got hot outside! Lucy and Noah were fearless on the tube. They liked to jump on it and off of it into the deep water (with life jackets on).
Catching little fish with Uncle Michael. Last year Michael took the kids to the stream, caught fish, and would show them. This year Noah had to bring his net to catch fish with. Lucy was a little bummed all week because her net was left behind, but Noah shared with her.
Paddling with Grandpa!

Daddy do you really need to teach Noah how to use that squirt gun!?
When ever Noah would see Uncle Michael he would walk up and say with his sweet little voice, "Hi there Michael!" It was adorable!
Joel's entire family gets together on July 4th to celebrate on Lake Lizzie in MN. The celebration and traditions are almost as big as Christmas. Uncle Brent and Aunt Laurel go all out and each year it seems that the firework show gets bigger!
Pictures: Lucy and Noah playing with Joel's cousin's kids.
They get so excited when they get together! Lucy brought her new My Little Pony Birthday Party Set to share with Madelynn. They are singing Happy Birthday together.
I think Matt wanted to rest, but the kids wanted to play on him!

Watching the fireworks together.
Uncle Brent is just as excited about the fireworks as the kids!

Being so prego and hot I feel like there is barely enough room but, I will never let Noah know that :)
Lucy and Noah discovered their hats at REI just before our trip. When they showed Joel and I we just could not resist the purchase. Joel wears a similar hat at times and they reminded me of little Joels.
My Mom and Step dad drove out to see us since traveling long distance by car is not easy for me. We took the kids fishing and it became another highlight of the week! My Mom is great at putting worms on the hook.
Noah and Lucy each caught a couple fish. They played with the fish in the live tank and played with the night crawlers (Yuck!).
Lucy and Noah loved casting their line off the dock.
Eating breakfast with Grandpa always includes way too much jelly!
