A Very Snowy Christmas

Finally blogger is working! More pics below!
We got a lot of snow this year in ND and MN. It was beautiful! The snowflakes were huge and you could see detail on them as they landed on your clothing.

Christmas Eve with the Nelsons includes a lot of activities. Bonfire,

Snowmobiling,

sledding,

(How can I post a picture of the kids when I got this one of Aunt Laurel?)

(Noah had a huge smile while outside...trying to catch the snowflakes)

Sleigh rides around the farm and to the neighbors house to carol!

Lucy looking for Santa.

Cupcakes!
Noah bonding with Grandpa. They have always had a connection...not to mention they look so much alike!
We had a great time with the Nelsons and for that I am thankful. We are still a little sad that because of all that beautiful snow we could not drive to MN to be with Mindi's side. Some of the interstates in ND, MN, and SD were closed. We could have taken some back roads but, the drive would have been horrible and very unsafe. The drive home to CO was treacherous and very stressful. I was praying constantly and so thankful to be home. I pray next year we can all be together.
