It has been a great year at AWANAS and we are sad to see it end. Lucy loved cubbies, Noah loved his little friends in the nursery, and I loved volunteering in Lucy's class. We had a blast learning/teaching about Jesus and memorizing Bible Verses. Noah would even recite some of Lucy's Bible verses because he would hear her say them with such excitement. I have heard ladies mention that AWANAS helped their children easily learn school material because they started learning to memorize in AWANAS at only 3 yrs old. I believe it now! Lucy is proud to get her award for reciting 20 Bible Verses this year. She does not look so happy because she was so tired....you know when they fall asleep in the car on the way!
