Over Memorial Day Weekend we drove to Spring Canyon and stayed for the weekend. My brother, Jason, and his family joined us from MN. We arrived a day early to check out the kayak festival. The last time we were at Spring Canyon was when Joel proposed to me....February of 2002! It was kind of romantic to be there again:)
We got up early and took the kids down to the pond to play and canoe. Noah is saying, "Water!"The kids loved running around and checking everything out. While we were canoeing Noah was leaning over and putting his hand in the water.

We took a drive to Cottonwood Pass
and then went into Buena Vista to check out the Kayak Festival.
A new area of town is being built in Buena Vista called South Main. The architect is beautiful and all down by the river. This is one of the parks built for climbers big and little.
They always seem to enjoy my food the most!I love to share..it helps me eat less.
We had a fun day, but could not wait for Jason, Jenny, and the kids to show up! 5/28
