Grandpa and Grandma had no idea that David, Katy, and their kids were driving up from Arkansas. They arrived in time for Lucy's birthday, so we mention that last year we were all together in Kansas City and so we wanted to get together again this year. They had no idea we had a little more planned.
Lucy was excited for her party all day. At lunch she got close into Grandpa's face and yelled, "I want to go to
Scheel's and then have cake!
Noah could not wait for the cake any longer, so he stuck his hand right in.
We had an early birthday party for Lucy while we were in Fargo. We showed up and surprised Grandpa and Grandma Nelson. They had no idea we were coming. We told them that Lucy wanted to celebrate her birthday with them and we got cheap tickets.

It was a princess/ Little Mermaid party and everyone got to wear some princess jewelry. 
She could not wait to open gifts!
