What a day for Lucy!

Lucy went to a Build-A-Bear birthday party for some close friends. Summer and Kenzie are sisters with the same birthday (two years apart) and younger brother, Fischer's birthday was a week earlier. There was a lot to celebrate! I had not really explored Build-A-Bear much, but I am impressed. Each child got a bear and Lucy named her bear Summer after her friend.

This is how we found Lucy later that afternoon sound asleep! It appears that she was reading her Berenstain Bears books when she fell asleep....they are currently her favorite books.
Lucy will play the parts in the book. She likes to be referred as sister bear and call us momma bear, papa bear, and brother bear. She loved the family vacation book and was referring to it on our hike in the mountains saying, "we are going in the great grizzly mountains!" We even found raspberries...just like in the book!
Please don't mention this picture to her...she was mad that someone took a picture while she was sleeping! Joel thought she was so cute!
